My Cloud Dragon represents an ascent after a period of darkness and suffering into Spirit's light and healing. It carries the imprint of hope, liberation and cosmic joy.

A few years back while I was dancing and traveling inward, I received a vision of this dragon flying through the clouds. Recently, I have been going through a more challenging and uncertain chapter in my life and felt drawn to return to my drawings of this dragon.

As I painted her, I could feel my energy centering and elevating to a higher vibration. In her gentle yet deep expression, there are hints of the darkness that she moved through before her ascent into the light for healing. Oftentimes, a period of loss, heartbreak or difficulty can serve as a catalyst for a spiritual awakening, a return to the inner temple of the Soul.

My Cloud Dragon breaks through the barrier of clouds from the dark grey day below and is at last bathed in the soft and replenishing light of the Sun.
