π€ feeling rejected and an antidote π€

β This past year, I have had to contend with feelings of rejection and naturally, that can feel very vulnerable and heartbreaking. Yet, it is just a part of loving wildly and being a passionate person whether with other people, our creative pursuits or even our beloved interests. At times, we all experience rejection in this world whether it is a friend or loved one who doesn't make time to connect with us or an opportunity we didn't get selected for or even just a lack of response to our art or creations. Rejection can leave us feeling small and almost invisible. External validation is so much fun and it is natural to seek it and enjoy it because we are social beings and we love to connect with others by sharing our gifts and our essence. We love to be seen as our true selves and accepted. However, in the cosmic dance, we are not always a match for everyone in every moment. External validation is ephemeral so while it feels good when it is around, it is not something we can always rely on. It is so important to not let this diminish our self regard and start withering or hiding away. So what is the best antidote for this feeling of rejection? I think it is consciously and deliberately raising the vibration of our self-perception. It is making a concerted effort to see our majesty and uplift ourselves from within. Just this morning, I drew this card from my Spirit Cats Oracle Deck and it felt very resonant. (Quick aside: let's just take a moment to notice how cute my cat, Lexi, is! I LOVE this fluff so much!!!) Beyond our personalities, we are are Souls. We are Cosmic Creators working with the medium of nature and this earth realm in this timeline. On the cosmic level, who we are in this life is our own creation. We are each our very own beautiful, intricate, heart-opening and mind-blowing artwork, a unique constellation of our Selves as we show up in this world right here, right now. Can we dote on the details of who we are in this lifetime? Can we delight in our quirks, our natural tendencies, our gifts and even our limitations? What is it that you love about yourself? This can be a private exploration just between you and you. No need to be humble or imagine what others would think if they read this list. You experience the world through the unique lens of yourself. Take a moment to acknowledge and see the singular magic and beauty that you are. This is the exact question I asked myself in my journal in order to deliberately heighten my self regard. What is it that I love about myself? I suggest you give this a try in your journal with the intention of uplifting your perception of yourself. I will share a few of the things I wrote in my list to help you get started on your list: I love that I go so deep into my inner world.
I love that I feel such a magical, intimate, and loving connection to Nature.
I love that I can immerse myself in water for hours and just dissolve into the present moment with such contentment that time dissolves.
I love that I can feel so free and wild when I dance that I feel like myself through and through without any self-consciousness.
I love that I can create a feeling of fun, wonder and play in almost any setting and I can bring those willing into this story.
