✨My Inner Temple ✨

Earlier this year, during a time of heartbreak and sadness, I sought out a healer for energy and body work to help me move through the intensity of emotion and the reality of not having any control over the situation. In the middle of the session, I received a beautiful and healing vision. I felt my inner world open into a vast sky with pink clouds illuminated with gentle setting sunlight. I was seated in such peace and stillness, floating directly above a soft, voluminous pink blossom, hovering in the center of an open air, delicate golden temple. This inner temple feels like it exists outside of the flow of time, a still point, an eternal place. It is a space for deep renewal where my soul light fills all the cracks and wounds and returns me to my essential wholeness. It is a place of soft still bliss, a place of deep communion with Spirit. My inner temple does not depend on my external circumstances. It is always there for me to return to when I need to remember and replenish. In the inner temple, my resistance and grasping relax their hold on me. I feel an expansive, infinite love within and all around me. After this vision, I never felt as bad about the situation again. Yes, I would still feel sadness, anger, grief and all the normal, perfectly understandable feelings but I could always lean into the inner temple and feel held by Spirit and connected to my soul no matter what. Knowing this sanctuary was always there for me gave me resilience, faith and hope. As an artist, I sometimes receive visions that act like a key for me to enter a specific state at any moment. So if I evoke the image of my inner temple, I can enter the space and feel the healing that is there for me. Perhaps, one day, I will even make a painting of my inner temple. I felt drawn today to share this story with you because it has been so helpful for me to have this resource amongst the tumult of life. I know that everyone accesses this type of connection to their soul selves in different ways but if you feel called, ask to receive a vision of your inner temple in a meditation and just see if anything arises. It could be a vision or it could be a feeling sense or even a phrase or mantra conjures this spirit communion. Do not be worried if nothing comes immediately. Hold the desire and an openness to enter your inner temple whatever that may look like for you. Do not judge what comes to you, just let it unfold organically and reveal itself to you. This experience of my inner temple has been so profound and present for me this year that I was guided to include it as one of the monthly magical messages in my upcoming 2026 Spirit Cats Moon + Sun Calendar.
