Those of you who backed my Wander Kittens Oracle Decks Kickstarter probably saw my recent Kickstarter Update where I outlined the big challenge I am facing with the new 145% tariff, an unimaginably large and unexpected expense for me.

The decks are paid for, printed, and ready for final assembly and shipment. I am already locked in financially to working with my printer in China as the decks are already made. Now, I need your help.

Why My Oracle Decks Are Printed in China

I print many of my other creations like my art prints, stickers, stationery and calendars locally in the USA. However, after thorough research, I found that China has the infrastructure to produce the highest quality decks with special features like matte lamination to protect the cards, printed boxes, glitter edging and a special type of printing that makes the colors richer, especially the jewel tones that I love to use. This is just not available in the US currently. The printing company I work with for my decks is actually a US company (with offices and printing partners in China) who also works with established publishers like Simon and Schuster and Penguin Randomhouse. This company has a very ethical environmental and labor policy that aligns with my values as well.

I love my Wander Kittens so much and I am 100% committed to bringing them to you. Know that I am doing everything in my power to make this happen and I am a very determined person. The Wander Kittens are ready to set sail and come home. Let's open the pathway for them together.
